So if I got aftermarket lower control arms would that solve the problem? I just want to make sure this will be do-able before attempting to remove them. This is more new territory for me and I hate learning stuff "the hard way". I'll also do some calling around and see if it would be easier for a shop to install them. One thing I have learned is sometimes it's worth the price of letting a professional tackle a job.
Kinda like how you said you would never do another water pump.....lol.

If your using a stock Honda rear sway bar then you can use the lower arms from an Intrega ('94-'00), Civic ('92-'95), or '94-'97 sol with a rear sway bar. So you don't have to go with after market unless you want too (for 'bling' power, they have the stock mounting points built in on most of them).

Good to know. So if I do go back for that sway bar I'll just grab the arms too I suppose. I do like how those aftermarket ones look with the colors. Here's an example of one I saw on ebay.
